The Grand Junction area is serviced by Burlington Northern Santa Fe and Union Pacific railroads. There are many industrial sites, with railroad sidings or access.

Air

Grand Junction is home to the Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT), a regional airport serving western Colorado. Grand Junction Regional is a modern all weather airport, and congestion and weather related delays, common in major urban areas - are rare, the airport having only ever closed 1 hour per year on average for the last 28 years. Air service is provided by American West Express, Skywest/Delta Connection, United Express, Great Lakes (Frontier) and Allegiant Air serving Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Denver and Las Vegas with over 20 daily direct flights.
